PR Account Executive

Up to £22,000

Brilliant opportunity for a PR Account Executive to make their mark at this independent B2B PR agency, with an established reputation in the media and digital sectors and a number of high profile clients including News International and last.fm.

With clients based in London, Manchester, New York and San Francisco, Propeller boasts both great media contacts and a fast growing social media department. We also have mobile apps development team that has several apps already on the Apple iPhone platform.

As a PR Account Executive you will have one year’s experience, ideally at an agency, and you will be ready to work with clients and take on more responsibility.

Excellent face to face, telephone and email communications skills are essential. You will need to be able to develop close links with journalists, create story angles they will want to buy and pitch them in effectively.

You will work within a team so the opportunity to learn from others and be part of the ongoing agency development will ensure that you develop your PR career, while learning more about the advertising, marketing, media and digital business we work with. We offer on the job training, mentoring by the MD and visits to CIPR and PRCA sessions.

This PR Account Executive position will suit someone who is excited by the opportunity for rapid growth in experience and responsibility, who is seeking a challenging in a rewarding agency environment.

You will probably use Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and other social networks. In addition you may be working on social media and understand how this can add value to the clients PR and communications strategy. You must also love and consume traditional media avidly.

PR intern

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and passionate developer, who is looking for a career opportunity that will not only involve day to day development but will involve liaising with clients, internal stakeholders and other developers, managing queries, progress updates and expectations.

Must have criteria
- Very strong in .Net development and SQL server database projects with at least 1 to 2 years hands on experience.
- Very strong knowledge of Object Orient programming concepts
- 1-2 years experience as a developer.
- Middleweight flash and action script knowledge
- Perfect spoken and written English
- Outstanding communication skills

Very advantageous
- iPhone (cocoa) or Blackberry development experience.
- Facebook and twitter API development experience.
- Basic design knowledge using Photoshop.
- Hands on experience developing in PHP and MySQL
- A basic knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience managing client requirements and expectations
