As Managing Director Kieran has overall responsibility for leading, managing and driving the Propeller PR & Content business. He has over 15 years of experience running UK and international PR programmes for technology, advertising and media businesses. Prior to joining Propeller Kieran was Client Services Director at Tech PR agency ITPR. Since Kieran’s arrival in 2014, Propeller PR & Content has doubled in size. Kieran’s client experience includes Google, Adobe, NEC, Mindshare, Disney, Webtrends, TubeMogul, Quantcast and Oxygen8 Communications.

Martin is the founder of Propeller Group. He drives overall company strategy and provides a senior advisory hand when needed.
He started his career as a journalist in the media trade press (Media Week and Campaign) and has written for national newspapers, including the FT and The Guardian. With 25 years’ experience, Martin is a board-level consultant and strategist. He has advised clients including News UK, Telegraph Media Group, ITV, Trinity Mirror, Disney, CNN, Viacom, JC Decaux, Mindshare, Havas, Sapient and many more. He has been a judge of the PR Week Awards, the PRCA Awards and is a Fellow of the CIPR.

Rose’s career has spanned marcomms, PR, management, business development and coaching across Europe, the US, The Middle East and India. As Global Head of Business Development and then Global Head of Reputation at Wolff Olins, she hired Propeller back in 2017 and liked us so much she joined us as Director of Strategy last year. Rose helps clients get on-point with their comms strategy and messaging, with a deep understanding of what creative agencies need to deliver.
I have been helping agencies of all shapes and sizes win new business since 2001. Including high profile client wins with the likes of Adidas, BT, Coca-Cola, Hotels.com, Jaguar Land Rover, The Body Shop and Virgin Money.
I launched Upfront in 2005 to provide a more joined-up solution to new business. Since its formation the Upfront team has proactively helped agencies to drive growth and generate over £200 million in new business.
In 2018, Upfront joined the Propeller Group and formed an exclusive partnership with sales intelligence platform Winmo. We now have a market-leading offer that combines data and insight, business development, content, events and PR to provide clients with an end-to-end solution, stretching from building awareness and reputation through to generating pipeline opportunities and closing new deals.
I remain passionate about business development and launched The BD100 in partnership with The Drum. The BD100 recognises the best in the business of business development and encourages greater collaboration and support across the business development community to everyone’s benefit.
As a child, I was obsessed with the Chalet School books – to the degree that my parents drove all the way to Austria so we could visit where it was set.
Hilary has worked in PR since 2009 and prides herself on her knowledge of the media and marketing landscape and during her time at Propeller she has worked with a range of leading UK and international media brands, advertising agencies and technology companies. Hilary likes to get to the heart of a client’s business and understand their business challenges and how they play into wider industry trends. Aside from client work Hilary enjoys the process of bringing a team together and empowering junior members of the team to grow and confidently deliver high quality coverage for clients.

Alysha is often the first person people meet when they visit the Propeller office. She started at Propeller as Admin Assistant and quickly became an essential part of the company. Now as Group Head of Operations, Alysha is the right-hand woman to the directors and oversees the finance, HR and general running of the office.

Ben is Propeller’s head of media and marketing. A familiar face at industry events, ranging from Cannes Lions and DMEXCO to Mobile World Congress and Advertising Week in London and New York, Ben works across Propeller’s client roster. His love of networking and brainstorming means he is often the first point of contact for prospective clients and his infectious enthusiasm and creativity shine through in pitches. Ben’s background in journalism has equipped him with a strong ‘nose for news’ that he brings to bear in our daily media meeting strategy sessions. He loves formulating killer headlines and tactical hooks to achieve cut-through coverage in high-profile print, online and broadcast media.
I was born in Holland where my dad was a presenter on Radio Netherlands where my birth was announced on-air.
Kate is a seasoned PR with previous experience leading campaigns across music, entertainment, healthcare, lifestyle and sport. Dependable, creative and organised, Kate loves securing the big national features for clients.
Georgie joined Upfront as Senior Business Development Manager, after working in-house across a range of both client management and new business roles.
Now as Business Development Director, Georgie works across a range of clients helping them on their strategy, new business programme and positioning. She also manages the business development team, ensuring they are tracking against deliverables and that programmes are as effective as possible.
As well as this, she is responsible for delivering growth across the business for both Upfront and The Propeller Group.

Branwell is Director of Content at Propeller. He is a former journalist with trade and consumer experience. He has held the position of deputy editor at Marketing Week and spent more than a decade explaining complex business and technology trends in easily digestible language and formats. His interview subjects have ranged from the CEO of Travelodge and the CMO of Fujitsu to the co-founder of Metro Bank and the director of customer experience at British Airways. He offers high calibre, editorially-led content solutions.
I’m responsible for booking meetings for my clients with the relevant stakeholders at brands across the globe. I previously worked in prop-tech travelling around the South of England.
Hannah joined Propeller Group having previously worked in both client management and business development for companies that focused on marketing and new business support for agencies, brands, and companies within the MarTech landscape. Hannah’s role includes working with her clients to implement and execute their new business strategies to assist with generating new opportunities. As a senior business development manager Hannah is also involved within new client wins for the Propeller Group.

Louise graduated from CCU with a Marketing and Computing degree, spending a year teaching Business Studies and IT, before moving into the world of PR. She prides herself on her organisation skills, and enjoys reading about the latest trends in the industry.
As a Business Development Manager, Charlie’s role involves being on the frontline for clients and through carefully crafted business development programmes, helping them to connect directly with brands who have upcoming projects on interest. His client portfolio covers a wide-range of marketing services, and in the space of a couple of years has already helped win business for digital, creative, and branding agencies.
Claire joined Propeller Group after completing her degree at Kingston Business School with a First-Class Honours in Business Management, specialising in Accounting and Finance. Her role as Account Manager supports the group to ensure the fulfilment of all client deliverables and to track and report on company performance. Before working at Propeller Group, Claire undertook roles in a large technology company and a merger and acquisition consultancy.
There are two sides to my role as Research Analyst at Propeller. The first involves researching prospects. I ensure each client gets a list of prospects custom-fitted to their needs, ranging from industry down to personality type. It’s very important that each client gets this personal touch and we believe it shows in our results. The second part of the role is to analyse and explain market trends affecting clients, spotting opportunities and supporting pitches. I’ve worked in journalism and heritage before working as a Canada Analyst at Mintel.
I sing and play guitar – my prize possession is my paisley Fender Telecaster.
Holly has worked in B2B media and marketing PR since 2016, having previously worked in financial PR and corporate communications for a number of FTSE100 clients spanning media, retail and tech. With strong journalist relationships at key national and trade titles, she works across a range of clients at Propeller including agencies in the advertising, branding and digital transformation spaces. Holly enjoys making creative links between clients’ messaging and the fast-paced news cycle.
A keen skier, I achieved legendary status on a university trip as ‘The Flying Parrott’ due to an incident involving a jump I definitely wasn’t ready for.
Will’s prior experience as a trained actor allows him to bring creativity and an understanding of what makes people tick to his role as an Account Director. He has worked across a diverse client base. Always keen to develop a fresh understanding of new companies and sectors, Will carved a niche for himself as Propeller Group’s tech lead, creating new opportunities in sectors like fintech, insurtech and retail tech, creating and implementing high level strategic PR programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients from global players such as Google and Ascential to small start-ups.

Anna graduated from Bristol University with a Classical Studies degree and has a background in market research PR. She loves getting to know her clients and it’s rare you’ll see Anna without a smile on her face – plus she finds most things funny, so will often be laughing too!
My role involves working with our clients to help them on marketing strategy, positioning and growing their own client portfolio. Before starting my career at Propeller Group, I was working across a variety of sectors from the sales team at Marketforcelive.

Jess has worked in business development since 2013 where she initially started out in the insurance industry before moving to agency world. Having enjoyed elements of her role where she looked after the client event accounts she soon moved over to the content team where she now works across on our clients events and content campaigns. Jess enjoys the opportunity that events, content and lead gen brings to our clients which is why she loves working on the central content team.
My role involves managing clients and helping to deliver marketing campaigns to help expand client’s portfolios. I have worked in a range of industries, my role before I joined Propeller Group was within the Engine Group working within the employee research side of the business.
I’m a little bit of a francophile and have a never-ending quest to be fluent in French.
Emma joined the team in 2016 as an intern and quickly worked her way up to Account Executive. She is an ex-student journo and previously interned at a tech PR agency. She brings with her versatile writing and research skills as well as a keen enthusiasm for all things media-related.
My role consists of driving new business for a portfolio of clients, focusing on tailored multi-channel outreach strategies to drive new business opportunities. Prior to joining Propeller group, I was working within the sales team for SaaS offering, using data and analysis to support brands with location-based decisions.
Georgie has been working in PR since she graduated from Queen Mary University in 2018. After working for a US based PR firm, she joined Propeller in October 2019 with a range of experience working with clients in the adtech, media and US startup space. Within her role, Georgie enjoys discussing complex industry issues and writing bylines that are accessible to a variety of different audiences using her creative writing flair.

Following graduating from University and completing an internship at Ipsos Mori, Rory joined Propeller as an intern in April 2017. Rory’s combination of unrelenting charm and talent for writing saw his place at Propeller made permanent, becoming an Account Executive in late July.
Mykayla is a Public Communications graduate from the University of Technology Sydney in her native country Australia. She made the move to the UK in 2018 after working in B2B technology PR, looking to enhance her global communications and media experience. She’s been with Propeller since July 2018 and has worked across a range of clients including digital marketing agencies, advertising technology vendors, and international payments providers. Despite now being fully immersed in British culture, her Antipodean tendencies do occasionally provide the team with humorous pronunciations of ‘data’ and ‘yoghurt’.
Anthony has worked in various PR roles since 2016, having worked in FMCG and medical consultancy communications for large brands and start-ups. After studying a Master’s degree at the University of Kent, Anthony joined Propeller as an intern and now works across a number of B2C and B2B accounts. As an organised and trusted member of the team, Anthony prides himself on pushing great coverage over the line and securing great opportunities on the industry’s events circuit.

Gill has a background in integrated marketing and PR, having worked across a range of sectors prior to Propeller, including both B2C and B2B clients. She now works across media, advertising and technology clients at Propeller, and particularly enjoys securing and writing bylines for clients and keeping ahead of the news agenda. With a background in English Literature, she loves a pun as well as discussing industry issues with clients.
As a Senior BDM at Upfront, my role involves working closely with my clients to produce best-in-class new business programmes and deliver agency-defining wins. My client portfolio covers a wide range of digital products and services which has helped to accelerate my knowledge of the landscape. The thing I enjoy most is getting under the bonnet of a client’s business and defining a strategy to produce engaging content and develop relationships with senior stakeholders at top-tier brands.

Joss graduated from Warwick University where she developed her love for writing. After graduating she began her career in trade PR before moving into consumer, where she worked with a range of big UK and international brands. Joining the team at Propeller early 2017, Joss now manages a range of accounts from ad-tech to influencer marketing.

Alister is an English Literature graduate who also completed a degree at the Institute of Digital Marketing before joining Propeller originally on their internship scheme.
