This week Propeller enjoyed The Incorporated Society of British Advertisers lunch where guest speaker Katherine Viner, Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian, spoke to a record-breaking audience.
Viner expounded the value of properly resourced and researched journalism and criticised modern reporters who were creating opinions and stories based on minimal evidence. Whilst explaining that the internet has contributed to journalism in a positive way, Viner also said the web “has given birth to an industry of professional manipulators of the media”.
Propeller Head of Content Branwell Johnson was commissioned by ISBA to write a blog about the event which you can read here.
