DMEXCO in Cologne is one of the biggest events on the global advertising and technology calendar. This year, it took place between September 21 and 22 at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre after a two-year COVID imposed hiatus from real world events.
In that time it has been interesting to see how the programmatic marketing side of the industry has evolved. With a range of interesting new start-ups and market entrants joining established names showcasing product innovation in programmatic.
This year, the event welcomed over 40,000 visitors from 91 countries, 560 partner companies and 770 speakers across the two-day event.
Members of the Propeller Group team have attended DMEXCO on eight previous occasions and this year the event seemed to have more of a German market focus than previous years. However it was still great to see so many familiar industry faces from all over the world and Propeller Group’s now traditional pre-DMEXCO warm up dinner (pictured) was a particular highlight.
Propeller Group’s dinner which we co-hosted with BrightBid and The Women in Programmatic Network brought together ‘the industry’s best and bratwurst.’ It was lovely to renew acquittances with old industry friends and makes new connections in a vibrant and dynamic part of the industry that we love being apart of.
