With just 82 days to go until Cannes Lions 2025, anticipation for the world’s biggest celebration of creativity is building. At Propeller Group, we know that some of the best ideas and industry connections come from bringing brilliant minds together. That’s why we were delighted to host an exclusive industry dinner with Simon Cook, CEO of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Now an annual tradition, our dinner brought together a mix of industry leaders, friends, and clients for an evening of insightful conversation and exciting previews of what’s to come in June. Simon shared a behind-the-scenes look at some of the key themes, speakers, and trends set to define this year’s festival—one that’s shaping up to be unmissable.
In addition to exploring the changing landscape of creativity and media, we had the privilege of hearing from Karen Martin, Chief Executive of BBH London, who shared her vision for her presidency of the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising).
We also discussed the inspiring work being done by Chloe Davies and Propeller’s own Louise Watson in championing positive change across the industry. Their efforts, particularly in connection with the WACL (Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership) Empower Café at Cannes, highlight the importance of communities in achieving a more inclusive industry.
Beyond the insights and ideas shared, this dinner was a reminder of the power of connection. Bringing together forward-thinking individuals in an informal setting allows for deeper discussions, new collaborations and the sharing of perspectives that shape the future of our industry.
