New business and marketing executives from a range of agencies joined Propeller and sister company Upfront for another of our Let’s Get Fighting Fit: PR and Business Development masterclass breakfast sessions.
The event was devised as a ‘spring clean’ to help attendees review their business development and PR plans so they can stay on track for the rest of the year.
Keynote speaker Bronwen Andrews, Head of Business Development for the UK and Europe at Grayling, shared some hints and tips gleaned from her career before the round table.
She said that while there is enjoyment in the “thrill of the pitch” new business involves discipline and analysis.
She added: “When you do well, it’s usually because on both the client side and agency side there is a lot of commitment.”
The interactive workshop sessions covered specific topics in a round table format including auditing new business success, network building, content development and distribution and creating a business development programme.
The tables were hosted by Camilla Honey, Managing Director of JFDI, Branwell Johnson, Director of Content, Propeller Group, Rose Bentley, Director of Clients and Strategy, Propeller Group and Jody Osman Managing Director, Upfront Business Development
